Knauber`s first CD, NOW YOU`RE TALKIN` was released in 1993and was recorded in Bonn and Cologne with well known American musicians, like:Steve Smith, Drums; Jeff Andrews, Bass; Rich Eames, Keyboards ans Steve Tavangolione on Sax. The exclusively original song material on Carol Knaubers first CD contains to 95% music and themes of the so called "good old time". For example from the time of his Jazz-Rock-Trio "Skalar" (1977-1982), or out of the Time during his work with the KNAUBER- WEILER ACOUSTIC GUITAR-DUO, in the style of Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin and Paco DeLucia. The second CD "The Juggler" was published in 1995. This CD was recorded and mixed in Los Angeles at the Mad Hatter Studios and was mastered in Hollywood at Bernie Grundmans Mastering! The original compositions of Carol Knauber were recorded with some of best musicians and "Superstars" of today`s music scene in Los Angeles. Rich Eames was responsible for arrangements, hornarrangements and was the coproducer. On this CD, you will also find two songs from the "good old times". The titles "The Juggler" and "Another Story" were products of the years, before he recorded this CD. Highlights on this album again, is a great deal of musical variety. You wont pigeonhole Carols music. But that`s exactly where he going for.
